The Team vs Sydney - Round 14 2017

happy with those changes.

Looking forward to seeing Langford in the middle and Smack up forward. Hopefully with Smack up forward it will mean Joe doesn’t have to ruck at all

Rd 14: Team v Swans

Essendon has made two changes to the side to take on Sydney on Friday night at the SCG.

Shaun McKernan and Kyle Langford come in to the line-up to replace the injured Cale Hooker and midfielder David Myers.

The Bombers are in eighth spot on the ladder and a win against the Swans could see the side knocking on the door of the top four.

I really hope we don’t play Goddard at CHB on Franklin - he will get murdered!!!

And haven’t we seen enough of Hurley playing down forward to know that it clearly doesn’t work and he is an AA backman?

And I hope Conor doesn’t spend the whole match on the bench!

no chance of winning now
ah well
hopefully we give 100% that’s all you can ask for

Why is that?

All we can ask for from McKernan is to provide a contest, pull down some contested marks and kick 2 goals.

He is VERY capable of doing that.

And I’m backing him to do it.

When have you ever given us a chance?

I’m looking forward to scrimmages in the forward pocket where he grabs it out of the air and kicks a couple.

Who has the job of placing these players in their positions? Someone with a sense of humour.

Hurley named forward, lol. Is there another club in the comp that puts out line ups that are complete rubbish week in week out

Hahaha that is exacty he type of goals I was picturing in my head too.

He’ll give away 3 or 4 free’s in our forward 50 due to ruck infringements, but he will certainly get away with one and take the ball cleanly out of the air and snap across his body.

He’ll also bomb one from outside 50.

All the talent in the world, hopefully he can pull it together just for tomorrow night!

Ah well. If only they’d included someone they didn’t include.
