I give up… I have stuck by all selections to date this year thinking the must be a logical reason but this weeks I just don’t understand.

weak selection againJeez its so easy to coach from our couches, how hard must it be to coach a team with low morale, 33% injured, a 4 draft pick gap in 2012 and 2013, a bunch of players with little or no AFL experience complaining about never getting a game, but not being quite good enough, a poorly performing group of forwards, a poorly performing group of mids and a hostile media baying for blood.

Like for like; no matter what, we don't play two ruckmen!In 2011 we continued to play 3 ruckman despite the team balance.In 2015 we continue to play 1 ruckman despite team balance.

geez …we don’t have 2 ruckman because we currently have 3 players around 200cm who aren’t that great at foward line pressure when the ball hits the gound… (JD, Carlise, Giles)
The eagles for example have two ruckman because kennedy 194cm and Darling 191cm are quite mobile
The hawks can have 2 ruckman because Roughy is a borderline midfielder and Gunston isnt that big so both their key forwards are great at fwd line pressure and mobility when the ball hits the ground
Freo have two ruckman because Pav is their only key forward
Its really not hard to realise why we are only playing one ruckman…
Walker is going to absolutely destroy us unless they send hooker back.

No. it doesn’t. No one knows what our coaches are up to. They obviously favour 1 ruck, this has been repeated here ad nauseum.
Rosco doesn’t. He is out of kilter with OUR coaches. Rosco is nowhere near our coaches or team & has no clue. Ergo, our coaches know better than ross.

Then the saga won’t end for years. It will drag on in court for years and years.
As for Hird, if the players cop bans- the media will be coming from everywhere calling for his head (much more so than now)- the club will probably sack him and put Harvey in charge. Though he shouldn’t be sacked if the players copped bans- he should be sacked for the woeful selection of the team over the course of the year.
