Zaka doesn’t like needles.

I wonder if he was made part of the 34 regardless, and is sick of waiting for judgment on something he could not plausibly be linked to.

Surely we would be in with a chance of winning this week with that team.

Pretty solid list of EFC players…happy…Will be at the Etihad game next week

Good to see the new recruits get a game. A interested in this one much more than the other.

Not a bad side. Good chance of being in it the whole game IMO.

Giles, Goddard, Cooney and Zaharakis is a top shelf midfield.

RIP Laverde

RIP Tippa

So whats the story with Laverde? Not on the injury list. Fitness not up to scratch yet? Skills need to be refined?

IIRC, he has a “minor” case of tendonitis in his adductor, which they were being super cautious with as they don’t want it to turn into full blown OP.

gwilt will massively improve our backline this week. Gleeson and ashby were forced to pinch hit as third tall and while their efforts were commendable Membrey and Bruce killed us in the air. Gleeson and ashby can spend more time doing what they do best, zoning off defensively and attacking from half back. I’ll be surprised if Zaharakis place but anyway fwiw:

RIP Tippa

No room for TIPPA and Zaka on the same ground.

Laverde is injured, someone mentioned it in a training thread.

Hopefully a bit more elevation for Foxtel’s cameras this Friday.

Surely naming Zakka to play means the idea of the whole of the main 2012 playing group not playing NAB is a complete nonsense now.

The junior 2012 players asked the club and the leadership group if they could play, now one of the leadership group is named to play.
