Was a 13yo junior member back then, up in the Hird stand. Upstairs front row, and happened right in front. I recall it seemed to go on for ages…Big bad Mal Brown, he was the villain of that day. When he raised his arms as he finally got pushed down the race back to the rooms the stand and fans on the terraces below went wild.

I was in the outer. Mal Brown was viciously kneeing Jenkins. Ronnie Andrews, John Cassin and Kenny Roberts became bomber fans favourites.They flew the flag for the red and back. The best memories.
