We, along with Sydney and Norf, sent some recruiters to Ireland end of last year for the combine, Richmond didn’t that may give us an edge.

We do need another genuine line-breaking HBF who can tuck the ball under his arm and go on a jaunt. As good as Redman, Ridley and Gleeson are - they aren’t in the same category as Saad and McKenna at running the ball past blokes, so we do need some depth in that department. It’s something our VFL team has been missing in the absence of Hind especially.
Hopefully, we could add both Towey and McQuillan and then sneak Jabba Tipungwuti on the Cat B list as well.

The rumors not true. But if he keeps playing the way he is, we might send him there as a punishment.
From a search on the AFL site ……if its up to date (?) we can recruit more than one.
IRISH ROOKIE PRE-SELECTION
Irish players can be signed directly to a club’s Rookie List under the International Player Rule and do not have to go through the draft. Previously, Irish players could not be listed as Category B rookies but took a spot on the main Rookie List.
Clubs can now list one Irish player as a Category B rookie but for each additional Irish player rookie listed, that player will be deemed to be a Category A rookie and the club will forfeit its last selection in the Rookie Draft for each additional player listed.
