This is fan-■■■■■■-tastic!! We had to win this, if we are to get where we want to get to. Forget what everyone says about “he’s not as good as Kelly/Whitfield/Coniglio”, etc, etc. He’s a bona-fide A-Grade midfielder. He’s at his peak, he slots straight into the middle and he will win his own ball, break from congestion, and he can kick goals. This is a game changer for us. We have to find another 3-4 wins on top of this year. A fully fit Joe, Raz and Shiel on board I think is worth at least that. So long as we have a clean bill of health and we add to our game day intelligence in the coaches box, we will be a very, very good team next year. We are back, we will be box office viewing. Nobody will play as exciting and attractive football like we will next year.
