Trade Talk 2019: who should we beat our chest like an ape about now?

Nah tell them you overheard in a coffee shop!

What would the stinkiness represent? I canā€™t think of a reason why a club would do the dirty by giving away a player for free, let alone one that would actually happen? Genuine questu

Iā€™m not bothered by it. Itā€™s interesting how berserk some clubs are going.

Gold Coast have been involved in 6. Sort of out of necessity with so many guys wanting to leave, plus them really needing to start from scratch.

After that, itā€™s the Scott brothers (4 each) in a competition to see who can do the most trades. Iā€™m backing Brad to win this year.

Brad is confident of victory if the roof is shut

Funny that.
Iā€™d say heā€™s one who would be unlikely to leave.

Once we have Shiel on our books I seriously doubt we would be able to fit any of Kelly, coniglio or Bontempelli in our cap, unless we lose on of our higher paid guys.

We have made a point of drafting guys who will put success above money and have built a good culture among the playing group, hopefully that is enough to keep the vultures at bay.

I think after this trade period we will be forced to either stick with the draft or trade for cheaper value guys.

Iā€™m simply saying GC could have got a better price, which suggests it wasnā€™t a free market.
If youā€™re selling a top ten pick for a 45-55 swap two years later, youā€™re doing it wrong.

20 likes. So are we doing this or what? Barrett is on air right now.

I suggest we all start calling up (to make sure you get through, say youā€™re calling to talk about a random other club or issue) and then when you get through, make small talk for a few seconds before asking Barrett if he can explain the difference between a journalist and a communications specialist (or if someone has a better joke along those lines please suggest!)

We up for this Blitz? If so weā€™ll set a starting time?

Unless weā€™re seriously contending and we can convince them to sign on 1mil a year. Anything more than that and youā€™re probably correct.

Just bought a coffee flavoured croissant. It tells me the twists and turns of trade period are yet to be fully unravelled.

#@#%!! I just split my soy latte flat white cappuccino. This must mean weā€™re not getting Shiel!

Maybe.

Watch This Space!

I doubt we could afford a 1 kill contract.

Edit Whoops. 1 Mill.

Stephen May has opened himself up to being traded to any Victorian club.

No such thing. This calls this whole posts credibility into question

And even they have already got pick 57 for Fasolo

If Richmond can afford Dusty, Lynch, Rance, Riewoldt, Cotchin, Lambert etc etc then iā€™m sure we could sneak one more in.

Not that I have any sort of following worth bothering with but I tweeted the 2MP Mottism, and have had garnered commentary and a re-tweet.

Surely will be the Dogs with their pick 7

Especially in losing Adams

GC will simply hold May if donā€™t get high first

Not sure 7 gets it done, especially given FA compo next year will be in the 1st 2-3 picks.

Im shocked no one believes me! #trustedindustrysource
