Yeah this is closer but Dodoro wont trade next years first. He doesn’t like trading future firsts. Shiel with Scully would be a ■■■■■■ good outcome though. Fingers crossed.
Yeh i know but Dodoro would have to get creative because GWS will demand two first rounder for Shiel alone, I reckon we could get away with it, but if Scully is involved, it will have to be a necessity. So unless he uses next year’s first, he’ll somehow need to find another first round pick.

Buzz on the indicator is Shiel will definitely get done for this years first and next years second. If we can’t somehow get Scully in on that without giving up next years first then let somebody else have him. I love him but he’s getting old.
Next years first will be reserved in case we decide to enter the race for Kelly.
Either way Dodoro is killing it. I’d trust whatever deal he decides is right.

Exactly. Would much rather attack Kelly or J. Martin in next year’s trade period. I reckon Martin is almost a lock to Essendon as he will be out of contract and if he wants to leave, they will be forced to get rid of him.

Yeah it sounds like J Martin has already decided to play for the dons. We’ll wait out his contract and then bring him in way cheaper than what GCS want this year.
