Barrass & Battle are much better players than McKay.

Ben McKay’s pre season should consist almost entirely of doing Lou’s handball competition.
Right now, from what I’ve seen, he’d struggle to beat Tony Jones (sorry… CHOMPITY CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP)

Surely Hawks can add anybody else? They have a new CHB and FB in one trade period - pretty impressive.
Their team is set for the next 3-4 years. They will just keep adding pieces here and there.

I’m hoping Hawks get knocked out week 1, because if not they could do a bulldogs 2016 with their momentum. Though i doubt the umpires will help them as much.

Yeah now that they’ve sured up their back half they probably only realistically would be after another gun mid and a key forward given the question marks on Mitch Lewis.
Albeit, their ball movement and gameplan is that good that even guys like Chol are looking good and they’re getting it done in other ways.
An LDU and then a Max/Ben King or a Waterman/Naughton would just about round it out.
Fremantle is set up for the next 5-6 years.
Carlton have had a horrendous injury run. Still daylights ahead of us.
Dunno. Reckon Sydney have got their arse back into gear now.
I wouldn’t be shocked if they are a bit like Melbourne in 2021, or Geelong in 2022. Just blow teams away in September.
