The rebuild crew
Iâm old enough to remember a time when our supporters were generally happy to welcome a new player to our club - especially one with other suitors. We knew Robram and Alvey and co. were no worldbeaters but we were a welcoming enough group to embrace them and congratulate them on choosing the best colours around. I am very disappointed at some of what Iâm reading. You can express surprise or doubt, but the reception from some has been a bit much.

What this crap that Tom Morris just reported on 9 news about Essendon having a drug problem and that some of the players werenât happy with Vozzo and complained to the AFLPA
I believe @Aceman said that he didnât want a single player over the age of 20 at the club. Isnât that right Nino.

If heâs accusing players of using drugs, he had better have proof.

I know a family member of one of our Essendon VFL players personally who obviously mix with our AFL players and he has tried to tell me a few times in the last 18 months that this is fact (the party boy, drug culture thing). Didnât know how much to believe it but there ya go, doesnât surprise me.
I mean the truth is, all clubs have players doing drugs. I guess itâs all about how hard theyâre going relative to every one else and what %. Especially in-season.
