My opinion is:
- he’s not worth 2x first round picks.
- we won’t pay 2x first round picks.
- he is worth what a team is willing to trade for him.
Can I assume you and @barnz disagree with the first 2 points?

Im on the wagon he aint worth 2 first rounders, especially if one is under 10.
Where do you rate him? I’d have him around the 50 top players in the league, probably just inside. Are there 50 players worth 2 first rounders? If both your picks are mid teens and get pushed down due to FA and academy fair enough, he worth two.
I’d absolutely give two firsts for Shiel & possibly some change. Think he’d round out our midfield nicely and allow Smith a few more forward rotations which also makes the forwardline more potent. Our first will get pushed out a pick as well IMO. Tom Lynch compo will definitely be early first round and I believe up to three priority picks could be issued this year although they’d most likely be end of first round picks. Shiel AND Gaff would be the stuff of dreams though.

He is top 20 in the comp for me and possibly higher. Absolutely worth atleast one first rounder possibly two with some more thrown in.
I’d give up pick 1 for him without batting an eyelid
