Hartley watch please.

Barely heard anything about him. Thought he was still on holidays.

All our new “inside mid prospects” at the stoppages.

More of a Billy Birmingham Richie voice actually.

Yep. Second oval. Did a drill with the main group, not much to report.

A little bird tweeted that we have a Fletcher training with the boys?

@CJohns tweet:

“ So far Aaron Francis completing all training drills today. Hope that means body is back to 100% after a small hiccup with tight hammy“

And you say not much to report!!!

With a mere 10 words you’ve launched a thousand ships / opinions.

Match play report.
Boys seemed to move the ball okay, team defence has improved. Really won’t know about the stoppages until we play an opponent.
Stringer and McGrath in quite a few centre bounces.
Green wore a green jumper.
Hooker, Brown and Francis did the first drill, then went second oval.
Bit hard to judge output because of the conditions, but intensity seemed pretty good.

Player Watch:
Harts: okay, didn’t really do much one on one defending. One massive spoil, a few nice kicks. Still not sure about him.

Mutch: saw him twice, missed two easy kicks. Needs to be better.

Guelfi: didn’t see a great deal of him, but a couple of nice kicks on the outside.

Stewart: struggled again. Dropped a couple of easy marks. May be squeezed out of the 22.

Lavender: has llllllovelly llllllong llllegs. Leads okay, he’ll go alright.

Langford: looks a lot better, clean with the ball, good decisions, looks stronger and more confident.

Stringer: couple of really good moments, no bad moments. Be a good stoppage player.

Begley didn’t really do much.

Zach is Zach. Looks fine.

Some notable performances from McKernan (monstered Hurls in a marking contest.) and McNeice (good talker, makes good decisions, good kick).

Sorry if I’ve missed anyone. Happy for people to disagree.
