My belief is there was a covid outbreak and it is significant. I don’t think its overly a case of the team was not all meant to come back today.
On Walla… he still has a way to go. He obviously had an injury as he was not allowed to do much today. It didn’t look severe just from his jogging and moving…but i sense still a few weeks on modified program to come
All guests to large functions need to do RAT test and provide evidence of negative results before attending. Club needs to mandate such policy. My family applied the rule, had 45 plus guests for Christmas lunch and dinner the night before - no covid transmission.
Careful covid management can keep a higher proportion of our list available and deliver competitive advantage. With management and a little luck we can challenge this year.
By the time the season rolls around, my guess is at worst it’s going to be stay home if symptomatic - which AFL teams tend to do anyway, because you don’t want any illness to spread during the season and inhibit performance.
Look at the changes since even early December to now. There is no way the same protocols are in place 12-weeks (ish?) down the road.
