Opposition applies a forward press so we can’t exit our defensive 50.
Meanwhile under Worsfold, when the opposition kicks out from a behind instead of a forward press, we run back to defensive 50 to flood our backline.
Outdated tacticians.

Off to the airport later today to pick up my wife, who has been gone for almost 2 years, due to the pandemic. Might have to stop off at the Hangar for a coffee on the way to check out the facilities.
For a “coffee”?
Why not both?
Sure there’s lots of interest in knowing things like;
Will Reid be fit to bowl?
How will big-hitting Baldwin go at No 6?
Jake Stringer - opening the batting, or his customary middle order spot?
Can Smith keep his promise to tone down the sledging or will the umpires have to tell him to “Just shut up Devon!” during the afternoon session?
Etc
I’m pretty sure it is a composite of thousands of overlayed photos taken of Essendon kick-ins
So, go to training tomorrow or the Ashes?
I’m sure it will be on in the Bomber cafe.
So, go to training tomorrow or the Ashes?
You go to training, I will watch the ashes. Deal?

if you went to training you would only miss the first session of ashes, still be there for after lunch sessions.
I will be at training Friday Matt if your keen… or any other Blitzers

Where has she been?
Planning day for me, so not Friday.

Would have missed nothing at all.
Where has she been?
At home in Sumatra. She has been involved in the process of migrating to Oz. As part of the process which begun in 2019, she had to do 3 visa runs in the first year. She took off for the third visa run on Australia day 2020. Then the pandemic struck.
BTW the Hangar was closed for a private function. I couldn’t get a coffee, nor could l have a look in the Bomber shop. As it was the flight was late, so l had to wait for 3 hours. Luckily l had the cricket to listen to, but it took another 2 hours to get back here, so l missed seeing any of the wickets. Watching today.
I wish you and your wife a very happy reunion @Captain_Jack. These separations have been so hard for so many.
Thanks for that. Strange then that after all the build up to containing Covid etc., that she wasn’t given any details on where/when to get the 3 day post isolation check. I have to find out how she get the Corona virus app on her phone, so we can actually get out and go a few places.
The logistics have certainly been complicated. At least you’re together again. Happy times ahead Captain.

Happy for you C_J. Pace yourselves tonight, we don’t want any injuries
