Session today was again on fundamentals of footy. No game plan type work to my eye. Monday can be a drills type day and limited practice match work saying that.

First 30 mins the skills were off but it picked up considerably as session went on.

When is their planned camp? I suspect that’s when they will be ‘schooled’ on game style etc. sessions on game plan are often executed at these things, followed by putting into practice on the track on camp.

Had a great time at training today. Went with my young fella. As an added bonus we had David King come along side and regale us with his observations and thoughts. He was quite conversational and wasn’t short on giving his opinion AND listening to another.

Towards the end a tired Jayden Davey came past to get his boots. I asked how he was going with the running load. He said it wasn’t so much the running load: “for all I’m from Darwin, it’s the heat”.
