But round 1 of the real deal?

Lets hope that he is OK by then. Whether he has the fitness is another matter.

Better if he rests his hammies for the real stuff
He is such an important part of this team

Cripps will most likely play I do wonder if Woosha would put a tag on him or let him dominate us like he normally does.

do we have anyone who can tag him though? he is so tall for a midfielder

Probably not but every time heā€™s near the ball have 2-3 Essendon players making it tough for him.

Cripps type mid away from having the best midfield in the comp,

Cripps canā€™t get the ball first if we get the ball first.

Iā€™m just guessing from what Iā€™m reading, but it sounds as though heā€™s in doubt to be playing any football at any level (at least not a full game of it) by AFL R1.
Apologies for the ambiguity.

Yep, except for that thing where rested hammies are far more likely to be injured than trained hammiesā€¦

Yeah, heā€™ll play.

Thereā€™s a few Iā€™m worried about being underdone, unfortunately theyā€™re some of our most important players. Heppell, Merrett, Daniher and Hooker.

I back our sports science team to get them right.

Cripps 195cm, Myers 191cm.

This is a terrible idea. Just back our mids in to do their job instead of taking an opposition player out of the contest.

To say Cripps dominates us is a bit much, wouldnā€™t call 27 touches a domination from last year

Itā€™s just plain wrong. If anything Ed Curnow was the dominant player that day but inaccuracy in front of goal ultimately cost us the game. From memory we kicked almost 20 behinds?
