Training Thursday February 6th

He also hasn’t been running. It’ll strip back quick enough once he starts getting up to being able to run 10km / repeat sprinting.

I thought Hurley said Joey had lost weight? I can’t see it.

@nackers is that the intensity of Joe’s running? I know step by step, but that’s barely a jog

Did anyone expect him to be sprinting?

A lot of upper body development is correct.

Interesting. We’re quite well off for his kinda sized forwards and he’s absolutely fantastic off half back. Be crazy to move him, imo. He’s too valuable in the back half of the ground

That’s a 2019 pic…

Training watchers had previously said seen him fwd also

He himself has said he has always wanted to get fwd, loves kicking snags. And we’ve used him there on occasion last year.

Too valuable for us in defence I would think though IMO

So the rumours about him wanting to go back were really about him going back forward? Makes Irish sense.

All of this news in regards to Joe is great, I’m confident he’ll get back on track

Shhh everyone… @nackers is replying
Lid off

If this theoretically were to happen (personally I would love to see him stay down back), who do Blitz think would take over rotation at half back flank? Someone quick/speedy say a guelfi? Someone a bit larger in size, or someone out of left field like a zaha?

Good question. Ham is a neat user and fast.

Gleeson or Redman would become more attacking, me thinks.
