Maybe with Stewart now unavailable for a while, Ambrose will be playing in the backline.
Hope so, although Rutten seems pretty stubborn about sticking with Francis, Laverde and Ridley are our âkey defendersâ.
Letâs be real though, Ambrose should be playing in defence ahead of Stewart anyway. Stewartâs basically our best tall forward (which is saying something). Instead we have a very raw Jones and a trash Wright while Stewart is prioritised back ahead of Ambrose.
Is Ambrose ready to come straight back though? I wouldnât be expecting much after such a long time out of the game.

Rutten is trying to rebuild our backline - we wonât be packing it with experienced defenders. I think we should have one of Ambrose/
Hooker back there but no more.
