Is Guelfi a genuine chance at round 1? Ticking all the boxes so far and seems a very versatile player, Last box to tick is solid JLT form.
Excellent report, great work, Deckham. Thanks very much. Great to see Heppell looking really good too. He wasn’t quite at his best last year having missed 2016, but he can be one of the best midfielders in the competition. He’s a bit like Priddis in one way (though very different in many others): he just keeps getting the ball, and he always gets rid of it and it’s almost always to someone in a better position.
He’s impressed me every time I’ve seen him this pre-season. Opposition will underestimate him at their own heavy cost. He is an excellent mid who finds a way through traffic with ease, and his kicking has improved substantially. Hepp, Smith, Zerret, McGrath, Stringer, Zaka - these guys are going to shine this year, and there’s still Parish, Walla, McKenna and Fanta running through the midfield.
With the spate of injuries to fringe players he’s certainly going to be right in the mix to be first called upon if needed.
If he does blitz JLT though may well force himself into side.
Endurance. Pace. And versatility to play fwd/mid/back certainly helps his cause.

Just a little cheaper
You had me at Ridley playing game time…really rate this kid
Ah the names in bold really is a great training report template.
Cheers.
Can really feel the season upon us now!!!
Great stuff @Deckham Although I might have to give you a Panic Dollars handicap if you are going to go to training!
Yeah, I was thinking about this actually. I may pull out of it. There are times when it would be unfair.
It will be interesting if he makes it.
But who misses out if he is in the team?
We can reassess next season if you win this one by $2mill.
High quality stuff by you.
Guessing we’ll see Guelfi on Saturday?
I think Joey does damage up the ground. Good runner, and such a good field kick.
I reckon either he or Long will play.
Nothing stopping him doing so still across half forward with Hooker the long target closer to goal.
I wouldn’t worry. Some of the other Gamers are pretty well connected. It would only be an issue if someone started deliberately posting false information to mislead other Gamers - and I don’t think that is going to happen.
There goes that idea then
Now, that would be exciting. @benfti has noted that Jake has put on some kg. At 185cm Long has potential to be big enough to be an inside mid. If he can pull it off it will certainly put him into senior team calculations, given we have enough outside wing type players by comparison.
