There was no conceivable way he could get off if Merrett was also suspended. The correct verdict was reached based off what happened earlier tonight. I’d have been fine if both were cleared, however once Zach was unsuccessful in his appeal then it was elementary that Adam’s was rubbed out too.

Deserving that both are ruled out but do we have any actual grounds to go to the appeals board here for Zach? Surely it’s worth the punt given we get back our most important midfielder if we succeed
