Back in the younger days, there was a guy in our crew who looked a bit like Mark Mecuri. One particular night, he was smashing the beers down quick when somebody threw out the nickname ‘Thirsty Merc.’ And it stuck like glue.
We still refer to him as that now 20+ years later, and his kids probably call him that.

Anything else makes zero sense.
It’d be interesting to see artists ranking. Like some artists probably fall victim to voters choosing only one of their songs to get as many artists they love in their list as possible, but there’s not one clear fan favourite tune.
I’m thinking Hoodoo Gurus would have 4 or 5 tunes all splitting the votes as voters decide which one to give it to, but if you’re picking, say, You Am I, there’s a big chance you’re going with Berlin Chair.
