Finished it earlier this week and agree as good as ever. For a series 9 seasons in it’s been remarkable for being consistently good.

weak by taskmaster standards is still pretty great telly

i love how armando has bucked the trend of the old head being the slightly curmudgeonly one and instead become a second “earnest, but sht” type with joel

i reckon there’ll be a payoff with joel’s egg in the final live task. but it’s just as likely to be nothing as well.

agree on kumail. he’s in the john robins/richard herring/mae martin zone of trying way too hard

This season has been far better than any NZ taskmaster season.

I have never seen the aussie one, is it any good?

nz season 2 is god tier, i will hear no such slander

aus version is good enough. tom cashman as the assistant is great. however there’s a minimum of one extremely annoying contestant in every series.

I do really like the NZ assistant. He cracks me up. The host ticks me off

The assistant biting into a raw egg and chewing on it is one of the most amazing and also disgusting things i have ever seen on TV

I find I laugh harder at studio banter than the tasks these days, thinking both the banter is better than it’s ever been and the tasks have been lacking some true mad genius or nuttiness from the contestants.

That is a fantastic ratio for an Australian production with any more than one person on screen.
