Lancelot Link Secret Chimp
âWasâ being the key word.
Last yearâs reboot (well, continuance) focused on the season-long-story at the expense of individual episodes⌠but itâs not cancelled, yet.
The first season of this was OK. Straya = real, Poland = magical mystery land. Odd concept to try and get off the ground, granted, but it kinda worked.
There were further seasons which even a 10 ish yo HAP could not get behind.
There was some other show- same era, in a similar vein set in like a desert world? Sort of Mad Max without all of the violence & fun. EDIT: Or was this part of spellbinderâŚ
Thunderbirds
âWhy is it so?â Prof. Julius Sumner MillerâŚ
Anything on SBS 8:30 + with N SX in the classifications.
The Henderson Kids was one of the earlier shows I watched and liked.
Used to gorge on cartoons of course on ABC and Channel 7, before school, after school. Liked Spellbinder back then too. When TMNT came out it was huge, same for the Simpsons.
I liked alot of Aussie drama, Country Practice, All Saints, was a big fan of Stingers (still refer to the Stingers tunnel when driving down Citilink now).
The big game shows were Sale of the Century - a must watch, also Wheel of Fortune.
Used to watch Itâs a Knockout (go Vic) and Gladiators also, big family shows.
Back then, you used to have to wait till 5pm to watch the footy highlights of the day for 1 hour until the 6 news.
Prince Planet. Heâs the best!
I used to watch Alby Mangels too, donât know why, but I liked it.
edit. Just looked this guy up - Did he have a show? Or just a few feature documentaries?

I used to watch Alby Mangels too, donât know why, but I liked it.

The Henderson Kids was one of the earlier shows I watched and liked.
I went to the same school as the kid who played Brains on the Henderson Kids. Heâs a colonel in the Army now.
His sister was on Neighbours for a while as well. Iâm still good friends with them both.
In my top 10 tv shows of all time. So so funny.would love for them to do a reunion show, the outrage of Al ripping into the fat women coming into his shoe store would be amazing
Al Buddy is in my top few tv characters of all time as well.
Been watching Home Improvement- they have all the episodes on Disney plus. Such a fantastic show, so so funny. I remember watching it as a kid all the time
Also revisited the Nanny, forgot how funny a lot of it was. The back and forth between Niles and CC is absolutely top notch
Police Squad!
Precursor to the Naked Gun movies. Only six episodes were ever made. The guest star was always killed off in the opening creditsâŚ
