which one did you watch? The UK one of the american remake (which is trash)

Pretty sure it was the UK version.
Based on that l won’t be watching the US remake.

A shout out to those who recommended ‘Unbreakable.’

Damn, that was good.

Are the sequels any good?

Split, was very good right up until the ending, which was so unbelievable that the movie descended into the realms of the ridiculous. For all that is was still much better than Unbreakable, which l prefer to think of as Unwatchable, it was all l could do to stay awake throughout.

I thought the ending to split made it all the more special.

A true return to form for m night shymalan

The visit is a good movie. 2 kids go to their grandparents to stay, but their grandparents are acting strange and they are not allowed out of their room at night, very good movie ( mostly handheld camera style)

The Visit, sounds like a new artwork, l have never heard of it. I
did enjoy The Sixth Sense.

Wait a second CJ - did I understand you correctly when you said you regarded ‘Unbreakable’ as ‘unwatchable?’

You understand correctly. One of the most boring movies l have ever endured. l will never watch it again.

Wow. There ya go. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.

I think Caravan of Courage and Battle for Endor belong in here.

I liked them more than the Star Wars trilogy as a kid.

I agree with @Captain_Jack on Unbreakable

A Bittersweet Life (2005)

One of the best action films ever made.

John Wick before John Wick existed.

For horror fans into found footage films, watched a couple of pretty good ones recently that slipped under my radar:

Hell House LLC
Lake Mungo (bonus - its Aussie and filmed in regional Vic!)

Likewise. Thought unbreakable was rubbish.

Lake Mungo made me deeply, deeply unsettled. One of the best films of it’s kind. Shame it was such a bomb and the director hasn’t had a chance to do anything since.
