Hmm wonder why that might be

But in the before times we would have widespread transmission of the flu amongst school children, a virus that appears to be more of a risk at that age than COVID. Yet no talk of flu shot mandates to attend school.

They developed a vaccine that works a lot better than the COVID one.

See Israel, Singapore, Ireland etc.

Flu doesn’t cause long term side effects in children like covid can. Also children spreading the flu won’t cause as many deaths as children spreading covid.

If we as an entire community want to get back to a normal life, children will need to be vaccinated.

If we don’t do that, we’ll be in and out of covid restrictions for years.

Can kill them. Something COVID can’t do nearly as well.

750,000 dead Americans in 18 months would disagree.

Talking about 5-11 year olds clearly.

Children give it to other people.

Covid was the 7th leading cause of death among US children aged 1-4 in August/September this year. It was the 6th leading cause of death for 5-14yos in the same period - and at least part of that age group was vaccinated during those months.

Best to leave it up to the parents based on whether their kid is at risk.

Healthy children should be left out. So no need for mandates which can’t distinguish between the kids who are at risk and those who aren’t.

Those other people can just get the vaccine then?

Well yeah but if you dO yOuR oWn ReSeArCh and realise that we’re in nazi germany again and covid is a scam and vaccines are pure poison made by bIg pHaRmA then why would we vaccinate kids

Martin Makaray, a well known advocate of not mandating vaccines, not really in favour of masks and other things. Lets just say his opinion isn’t worth ■■■■.

There are covid threads.

Back on topic. Parents in the US blue and purple states aren’t going to be too happy with having their right to choose about this taken away.

Bloodbath in 2022 for the dems

Dems tend to be far more positive about vaccinations. It’s going to motivate republicans in purple states, but I haven’t seen any polling to say the Dems will turn against the party

Why do you hate science?

Coz it created covid ?

Pretty sure all corona viruses have a naturally occurring origin. Or do you want to blame science for creating the dozens of cold strains out there too. Must be comforting under your tin foil hat.
