I think put more simply: the choice should be between the woman and her healthcare provider who has a shitload more context, experience and knowledge than people in parliament / the courts

He’s found a home with Trump and the MAGA crew I reckon. The worm, the bear and the whale head so far… that trip up the highway sounds utterly gross. Possibly more to come as the Dems keep digging. And now he’s on Donny’s potential transition team?
On current form, he might be a chance as special envoy to Columbia to help sort out the their rogue hippo problem. Mind boggles as to how though.

Im of the view you need to legalise most things people are going to do anyhow.
Ie if abortion was made illegal everywhere - women would still be having them. It just would not be in the best conditions or with appropriate support.
FWIW I don’t actually think Trump is as anti abortion as the Democrats make out. He does leave it for the states to decide though and its republican states banning the practice.
FWIW, I 100% do not believe, like one little tIny bit, that he has ever, under any circumstance, at any point at any time, once ever, in his personal life paid for one either…

Reckon this piece is largely correct in what might move the dial for or against Harris prior to voting day in Nov.
Immigration is a battleground that both will use against each other as per today. Abortion is another, but they’re evenly divided (more for abortion rights I suspect). The ME or Ukraine wars? Unless Putin presses the panic button and hits out at a NATO country I doubt that too, although Trump would sacrifice Ukraine in a heartbeat purely for the dollars saved and curry favour.
No, it’s the economy taking a big hit. That would damage Kamala as the incumbent VP … and in PA where I reckon this election will be won, probably its very much about the cost of living / inflation / the economy / jobs foremost.
I don’t mean to get this into an abortion argument, but the greater point is simply that what the GOP thinks people want, very few people actually do. The ones that do are just the most insufferably loud about it. Generally the US population takes the liberal position on most of these issues and yet many of them end up voting Republican anyway. That’s what irritates me to no end.

Trump spouts a lot of garbage. But policy wise i dont think hes that shocking.
In the states both sides are being as outrageous as possible to get people out on a weekday in the middle of winter to vote. Often in hour long queues.
For something thats voluntary.
Their system in part delivers what they get imho.
And as for much as Indian/black/women without children/women in general etc would be hugely disappointed if Kamala doesnt beat another old white man. Trump wont be as bad as most will think.(he also wont be nearly as good as his supporters think either).
I do wonder what Harris brings to the table. Shes a massive unknown. My guess is nothing dramatic - she wont be a “communist” and shes not Trump.
Foreign policy is what intrigues me. Especially how she would manage both Ukraine, Israel and China. Because that will really affect our fortunes as a country.
My pick is one term if a recession doesnt strike. And hopefully normalising a female president - like I believe Obama did for African Americans.
