No.
No.
He also claimed that all the Nato leaders told him how much they love him and what he’s doing. That didn’t happen either.
I’ve said this before.
I don’t think he’s actually lying. I think he imagines stuff the way he’d like it to happen, and then believes the thought is reality.
He’s beyond cooked.
He certainly is a proponent of the power of positive thinking and believes if you just say stuff enough it will become true.
If you’ve been filthy rich and powerful your whole life the world will tend to work for you that way.
But he’ll also flatly lie.
I’m worried that almost the only way I can see the USA “winning” this war without a full ground invasion and occupation is nuclear weapons. I’m afraid Trump is stupid enough to use one.
Hes clearly a mad man, and thats not the biggest problem. The biggest problem is there are a huge amount of people not just in the states but all over the world that love him and think hes great. Thats the really scary bit
I think he saw the MOU as the exit strategy and the ‘WIN’
He’s too chicken ■■■■ to put troops on the ground. He just needs the troops out of there, let the gulf states deal with the blowback.
He’ll call that a win.
Thankfully.
Hans Christian Anderson failed to appreciate that many in the crowd also believed the Emperor had new clothes, and were willing to fight anyone who pointed out he was naked.
Trump’s Transportation Secretary Sean P. Duffy Announces Supersonic Flight Is Coming to the U.S.
Tuesday, June 30, 2026
WASHINGTON, D.C**.** - U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean P. Duffy today announced the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is taking a pivotal step toward enabling civil supersonic flights over the continental United States. Thanks to massive innovations in supersonic technology, it will be possible to safely operate these innovative aircraft without a sonic boom. When operational, next-gen supersonic planes will drastically reduce travel times–enabling faster movement of people and goods.
Today’s proposed rule sets a noise-based certification standard for supersonic aircraft. In addition to this first rule, the FAA plans to propose another rule later this year, establishing landing and takeoff noise standards for supersonic aircraft.
Together, these actions will give manufacturers the guidance they need to finalize their designs and bring these exciting innovations online.
“Restoring supersonic flight over land isn’t just about speed, it’s about unleashing American innovation and ushering in a Golden Age of Travel,” said U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean P. Duffy. “Thanks to President Trump’s leadership , we are working at lightning speed to safely enable the next quantum leap in aviation technology and deliver an exciting new way to fly to the American flying public.”
“Advances in aerospace engineering, materials science, noise reduction, and new operational concepts will eliminate the old sonic boom,” said FAA Administrator Bryan Bedford. “This means we can ultimately repeal the ban from the 1970s on supersonic flight over U.S. territory while minimizing noise impacts to residents in communities along the route and near airports.”
“This is how America wins—by moving at the speed of our innovators,” said Assistant to the President for Science and Technology and Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy Michael Kratsios.
“For too long, outdated rules held back our engineers and manufacturers. Under President Trump’s leadership, we are clearing the runway for supersonic flight, strengthening our industrial base, creating high-skilled jobs, and ensuring the future of aviation is invented and built in America. American ingenuity broke the sound barrier once before, and today’s action ensures it will define the new Golden Age of Aviation.”
The FAA aims to finalize both rules by mid-2027.
Additional Information:
Aircraft flying at supersonic speeds–Mach 1 and above–are traveling approximately 770+ miles per hour. Commercial airlines generally fly between 550 and 600 miles per hour.
One key to enabling supersonic travel is reducing the noise experienced by sonic booms. One means of achieving this is using a flight technique called Mach cutoff where the aircraft design, atmospheric conditions, speed, and altitude work in combination to ensure the sonic boom bends and refracts back into the atmosphere, significantly reducing its ground-level impact.
The FAA is collaborating with the International Civil Aviation Organization, NASA, Industry, and academic institutions and applying their research to inform supersonic noise standards.
Executive Order 14304 Leading the World in Supersonic Flight also calls for the FAA to secure aviation safety agreements with foreign aviation authorities for the safe international operation of supersonic aircraft.
Another investment opportunity for the MAGATS and a rash of umbrella’d companies with Cheeto’s family on the boards, while eliminating further vital regulations. Looks like they worked through the night on this fantasy, i wonder if it stemmed from his shame around having to use the plane that Obama used for the Turkey visit?
On Sunday, shortly before boarding his luxurious new Air Force One donated by the Qatari royal family, Mr Trump posted the digitally manipulated image of an apparently besotted Ms Meloni gazing up at him longingly.
He used it to denigrate the Italian Prime Minister as a stalker.
“Bellissimo Don, you’d look so good in a pair of my uncle’s custom made concrete shoes”
When I saw the Transportation Secretary’s name my brain read it as Sean P. Diddy and thought “yeah, that makes sense”.
There’s something deeply misogynistic about his behaviour towards Meloni that is right on character for him. He’s such a Putrid person, I still shake my head that so many Americans think he is the right person to lead them
America is quietly abandoning its Indo-Pacific strategy
The Pentagon’s recent decision to drop “Indo” from “Indo-Pacific” may prove to be one of the most consequential bureaucratic acts of the Trump presidency.
Officially, almost nothing has changed. The newly renamed U.S. Pacific Command retains the same area of responsibility — from America’s West Coast to India’s western frontier.
But strategy is often communicated through symbols as much as it is through policy documents. In geopolitics, names are rarely cosmetic. They define priorities, shape alliances and reveal how governments see the world.
By deleting a single prefix, Washington has raised an uncomfortable question: Is America quietly abandoning the strategic vision that has guided its China policy for nearly a decade? That vision was never really about geography.
The “Indo-Pacific” was a grand strategic concept. It recognized that the center of global power had shifted, linking the Pacific and Indian Oceans into one interconnected strategic theater. The world’s busiest shipping lanes, its fastest-growing economies, its principal manufacturing hubs and its most dangerous military flashpoints had become inseparable.
The concept’s intellectual architect had been Japan’s late prime minister, Shinzo Abe, who contended that the Pacific and Indian Oceans formed the “confluence of the two seas,” requiring a coalition of maritime democracies to preserve a rules-based regional order. His vision of a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific” sought not to isolate China but to prevent any single power from dominating Asia.
Out with the indo. In with the paedo .
I am smitten with this James Talarico bloke. He sounds so sincere and believable, hope I am correct.
