I lived in the Solomons back in the 1990’s & the Seven Day Adventists had a strong foothold there, & they banned the eating of pork & shellfish.
Cooking pork in the ground like a lot of South Pacific Islanders was popular & crayfish was plentiful in the sea & these poor buggers couldn’t touch either
