I wouldnât be surprised if there is a third club involved. None of their players will want to come to us but there are clubs like North that are chasing Hawks players so might see something where picks and a player are involved

Why on earth would we want to be filling our precious list spots with Hawthorn rejects?

Good Hawks lineup whilst we look a little short.
Probably 2-3 goals in it either way but feel they might get the job done.

They have plenty of players who, if they come to Essendon, could fulfil a leadership role. Much like Fiorini from the Suns.
Jones - take some big marks but have 5 kicked on him from the hawks talls
Bourke - I reckon heâll have a good game Iâm backing him in to take steps forwards with his game and ball use!
Johnson - 30 Touches in a canter and no callup.
Perkins - like last time he played VFL will go through the motions but still have 20 and 2
Gresham - another serviceable game. 20 and 6 score involvements.
Nguyen - hope he gets reward for his toughness and the contest and kicks 2+
Unwin - time to put up or shut up. 2+ and 7 score involvements.
McMahon - return to regularly scheduled programming. 3+ today.
guelfi - same as last week hopefully no dislocated finger. 2 goals but a bit more of the pill.
Vigo - hope plays with a chip on his shoulder for not getting the call up. Hope he has a good showing against hawks rucks and gets forward and kicks a goal or 2!
Parish - reckon heâll have an unimpressive 25 with 8 clearances but could have done a lot more. Hope he proves me wrong.
Tsatas - will have 50 and 5 but unfortunately gives up a stoppage goal and is delisted on Monday. Real talk hope he has 30 and 1 but continues to have his touches around the ground in good spots and linking up for the team!

Sorry - I thought youâre just talking about the Hawks list in general. If they bring in King and Merrett, itâs likely some decent players will fall out of favour
As l said, there are some players âworth a lookâ and l have no doubt Rosa and his team will be taking it all in. Thatâs their job. And weâll have plenty of spots on the list, and some more, to soak up 4-5 inside 25
