Finally I’ve found a couple of hours to go through yesterday’s pics.
As far as the game itself it was a game of two halves - 1st half , Dons showed aggression, positive attack on the football, great tackling pressure and a willingness to get numbers to the contest. In the 2nd half, as N/Ballarat lifted their intensity we started to drop off ours and became the chasers instead of the chased. Our output became pedestrian at best and may have been a function of some top up players tiring after their first half efforts.
A number of consistent players but nothing that leaped out for senior selection. Those calling for Giles need to temper their enthusiasm as he no doubt makes an effort but his ability to get off the ground for tap outs is extremely limited. He does not use his body nearly as well as SMACK.
