Not much chance of him coming in this year. Only two new players were introduced to the big time for the whole of last year.
For all of his faults Sheedy always brought in young players whenever possible. Misiti, Wangeneen, Mecuri and Ollerenshaw were only seventeen when they were introduced.
The AFL has turned a 150 year old competition into a mockery.

Can you imagine the uproar if this sort of sh*t was happening in the WAFL or SANFL.
It’s been 6 years since Covid began, and we still have f*cking Queensland teams in the competition.
There’s 23 (?) teams in the league, yet we play 14 of them, and have 4 byes. What the f*ck are they doing?

If we were a well run football team, Shiel would go out for Johnson and Hobbs/Tsatas would play as permanent midfielders. Whichever one of them is better stays in and the other goes out for Day Wicks eventually.
