VFL - practice match vs Port @ The Hangar, 10:30am Saturday 7th Match 2026

As far as I am concerned the club is at least recognising the reality that Perko, Jones and Cox have had a very limited preseason. I am happy to see them given the maximum time their program allows.

It’s easy and possibly justified to be snide, but as long as they wear an Essendon jumper I wish them all the best in regaining their top form.

Inness having a say on fitness & conditioning and ticking off if ready to play AFL?

Not surprising don’t take any risks I say

I’ll never understand it. Do they play defenders in the midfield just for the sake of getting miles in the legs?

Nope. They just have nfi that they want perkins to be.

So a “slight strain” is a 6 week hammy?

Is it just me, or is every hammy 5+ weeks league wide now

I dont mind Cox on a wing, would be good there.

Has more upside too than the other 2. We know the other 2 are crap, haven’t found that with Cox yet

Out of all Brad’s daft moves around the picking of a wing I do feel that Cox is the best of the sad lot.

I mean Kelly, Jones, Prior :nauseated_face::nauseated_face::nauseated_face::nauseated_face::nauseated_face::nauseated_face:
