In all seriousness when you think about it it is gross incompetence of the coaching panel. In a clear rebuilding phase, we bring in 2 has-beens who have zero future at the expense of giving this kid more experience. Maybe they think he will develop faster in the VFL, I have no idea?

3 AFL games without a huge impact, I don’t hate the idea of sending him back down to get some momentum going again. Should bounce straight back up, hope he sticks.

Cox, Nguyen & Kondo all been pretty good from what I’ve seen.
Can someone at the ground tell me if Jones is on managed minutes - because if not - yikes.

Really l’ve never seen a game where Nyko hasn’t butchered the ball.
I agree his agility, quick hands and ability to dispose of the ball when tackled give him potential to pinch hit in the centre square, as those types are the ones that are flavour of the month at the moment in the AFL.
He played all his junior career as a mid and won EDFL league bnf’s.

He can be hit and miss with it, but the pressure and first few quick steps to get into space or out the back hasn’t been there
Our contract management has been truly dreadful and is really going to hamstring our rebuild over the next few years. Between McKay, Jones, Fiorini and others … we’re going to have to dump young players mid-development because we won’t have the list spots to be patient and keep them.
