Longy still out there running laps.
Maybe someone gave him a tap on the shoulder…
As the boys sing the song, Long runs laps. Poor bastardo.
Langers and Clarke best on for mine.
Bossed midfield all day.
Backline looked very slick today.
From the little I observed from an otherwise ugly and messy game of footy.
Francis looks composed and in control when the ball is in his vicinity. Cut above.
Langford and Clarke ought to be brought straight in as our inside mids.
Ridley developing nicely and will get his chance soon.
Zerk Thatcher very very promising. I think jackets has found a gem. Just wait till he puts on another 5 - 10 kgs.
Sandy tried hard in the last quarter, but it wasn’t enough and blind bombing into the wind with us having dominant talls that end was unlikely to work.
Bring in Langford, Clarke and Guelfi ffs!
Francis not far away.
Langford busting tackles was great to see. True inside mid. Clarke is a ball magnet…didn’t have any issues with kicking. Francis in and out of game…massive in the 2nd and the last part of 3rd. Younan and Hind are solid players.
Zerk-Thatcher will be a player as will Ridley.
I do like seeing these ‘kids’ all building chemistry together, in their respective areas:
- Hartley/Francis/Ridley/Zerk
- Draper/Clarke/Langford/Mynott/Guelfi
Franga see franga mark
Flies like the ball was meant for him
Gets up there too
Guelfi, Clarke and Langford should play the season out in the ones.
Was Woosha there?
Didn’t hit running targets 2nd full game?
Seemed that he was on the beach wing and the ball spent a lot of time on the other wing.
Probably didn’t play to instruction.
Langers should be playing 1s.
Clarke should be playing 1s
Francis will be dominating 1s soon enough
Long could be playing a role in the ones given the current lack of spark.
Guelfi is the type of role player every team has and could definitely be playing 1s
Zerk looks great.
Draper is growing into a footballer. He’s an investment, and we just need to let him keep building. Next year he’ll be #1 in the 2s and some senior games, the following year he’ll be ready to go Rd 1.
Lavender is an impressive size, and moves well. Lot to learn about positioning though.
Mynott good in patches, looks a mid.
Houlahan good in patches, looks a forward.
Ridley just does what’s needed.
I bet Langford comes in and gets 8-10 disposals and has no influence. Wouldn’t be much different to what we already have. So yeah bring him in, but don’t expect much.
You’ve seen the future, where Woosha plays him deep forward?
Anywher we can watch a replay of this match? Would love to see a Bombers team win!
Was amazing to see players actually hit targets by foot
Thanks!
