Pressure in the middle leads to intercept marks in the backline. Both the pressure and intercept marking ability are missing from the firsts.

Marks 124-54, and that wasn’t because we were madly chipping it around. They had no marking targets and we enjoyed that (Dea 11, Francis Ridley Bezerk-Thatcher 9, Sheahan 6, Hartley just 5 but so many Fists of Doom).
Extremely disappointed that the camera failed to capture the worst (non) throw-in ever — ump went to throw-in, the ball slipped off the end of his fingers, and it went straight over the boundary and the fence into the car park.
At least they got the footage of some guy jumping the fence to get the ball as the ump hung his head in deep deep shame.

AFL Victoria’s Match Review Panel charged player Smith for engaging in rough conduct against Essendon player Jamieson Sheahan during the final quarter of the VFL Round 6 match between Sandringham and Essendon on Sunday 13th May 2018 at Trevor Barker Beach Oval.
Based on the available video and medical report, the incident was assessed as careless conduct with low impact and high contact. The incident was classified as a one match base sanction. The player has no applicable record which impacted the penalty. An early guilty plea enables the player to accept a $150 fine (VFL Listed) and a reprimand.
