Not to mention they have a whole State being represented in a State competition.
Port Melbourne are 20 points up. The dream Essendon vs Port Grand Final still a chance.

Yes, but we had that AFL superstar talent Gresh.
We have fielded worse teams in the AFL than that one out there today, please
Did we not even get a chance to hear the team sing?

Who? What do you mean? Who were Tassie playing again??
Just watching the Port Melbourne v Werribee game. Advertising us v Hawks 11:00 am next week and Geelong v Port (with the Port game still in progress). Bit of predicting results already
Yep, it’s the vfl so they just used the local comms team and tassiecast, why would the vfl consider the finals might need anything else

They were commentating from a studio in Melbourne.
And that’s what they did.

Every forward kicked a goal or multiple; every backman won their spot. Midfield was 50/50. Visentini was really not great.
Baldwin kicks his 3rd to basically lock in the Port Melbourne win

Former AFL player, the win unfortunately doesn’t count.

Well I stopped watching with 10min to go, so I think I know what our problem was.

Players like Visentini, Clarke, Artemis, Johnson, Nguyen, El Achkar, Unwin etc being part of another finals win is amazing. This too travelling to Tassie, in their home condition and crowd, outplaying the top 4 side, and getting to a prelim final is outstanding achievement.
The fact that we’ve won 8 games in a row, and has beaten our next opponent only 2 weeks ago, should give the team great confidence.
We really need to get to the Grand Final and win. That will give this group of youngsters a great taste of success.

I get what @Ants was saying, it was a pretty poor standard of game.
But it was on a cow paddock, blustery conditions, dodgy timekeeping, in front of a parochial crowd against a team that finished top 4.
Take the win and run.
