Because the time keepers go out for a dart and a beer midway through the quarter and just stop the clock while they are out of timekeepers box.

Tbf to Guelfi, in the last quarter the ball was bouncing around the contest like a bar of soap.
He pushed up the ground, and had excellent clean hands under immense pressure, to cleanly collect the ball and lay off handballs…. When everyone was fumbling.

Umps flip flopped. Good for us in the first half, bad in the second.
A little like #16 last week who’d pay a free for just about anything to anyone, it was a bit random who was benefiting when.
