I wish him well but gotta say, losing Tapping (RIP) & Cara over the off-season and only bringing in Joyce (last min) & Dyson (part-time) surely has us worse off re player development resources this year.
Thankfully the VFL playing list is in far better shape heading into the season at least.

Think about it for a minute.
No matter who Essendon might have wanted for their VFL coach, was simply not going to happen.
All prospective VFL coaches and assistant coaches etc are already tied and contracted with their respective VFL teams. They wouldn’t be considering changing clubs at this late time.
So what are the options?
Find an available coach with considerable experience and one who already has a relationship with our senior coach and will be able to work quickly with him to maintain what we already had implemented with Dale Tapping.
It’s just for 2025. No one could ever have predicted such a horrible situation to occur like this.
I think his selection will work out fine.

Yes that’s logical and may have been the best they could’ve come up with.
I just find Scott to be quite insular based on his appointments and I’d like to see intel from
More successful clubs.

We have had a few assistants come in from successful clubs and it hasn’t changed things.

Highlights include Good Friday afternoon @ Port Melbourne, Collingwood @ Windy Hill Saturday afternoon 26/4 & Carlton @ Windy Kings Birthday eve
Lowlights include games at Casey Fields, Frankston & get this, Ispwich Qld.
Several Friday afternoon games too at Windy Hill following on from the Thursday night AFL games

nope
I can only find score updates from the Geelong footy club. They have 3 goals and we have none at 1/4 time.
