Just about every VFL player also has a local or country club that they sign up at as well.
Depending on how good they are, the health of the AFL list and how many VFL byes there are (which as we know is too many) will determine how many games they’ll play for their local/country club.

So is Gary Rohan working with the VFL this year? i dint see him in that announcement on the EFC site.
How many tall forward options do we think the VFL side might need on any given day exactly?
They will have Edwards and McMahon and possibly May as well. So not many

Which makes having Sellers, Bella, N. Wright etc. all VFL listed a bit of an odd call.
If we assume Caddy, Langford, and Wright (at least initially) are AFL locks; that leaves (if fit) Edwards, Jones, Gerreyn (granted, he may play in defence), May, McMahon, Visentini, and Nik Cox (depending on how he’s used) all needing at least some forward time in the VFL.
I guess they don’t have to play the VFL listed guys at all, so maybe it’s just going best they can get at the time.
