F*ck I hate sport. I mean seriously. Will I ever be able to have some semblance of joy from AFL? or is sneaking a win every now and again against a top 4 team the best my team will ever have in my adult lifetime? I follow the same ■■■■ team for 15 years going on 16 with the same supporters telling me that “it’ll be better next year” and now have to swallow your VFL team up by 40 points at three quarter time only to put on one of the all time great losses in history. We’re gonna fucken get done easily in 6 days time too, what’s the bet we’re up by a few goals at quarter time and end up losing by 12 goals.

It’s okay folks, Ants told us to stop whining. Losing after leading by 40 points isn’t worth being upset about.
SO next weeks elimination won’t be featuring any of the AFL players who play on Thursday.
Assuming we get beat by the reigning premiers on Thursday, a win today would likely have meant that the VFL team would have been bolstered by a handful of AFL qualified players in 2 weeks time. Now we have to rely on beating either Box Hill or Werribee with a weakened side.

Also was a VFL final where we’re missing a dozen players due to injury, and where we sat our most influential mid for an entire half because we might want to use him in the far more important AFL final on Thursday night. We obviously played well for 3 quarters, but fked up the last. Some of that would have been because if the lack of depth due to senior injuries, not to mention the need to hold back 3.5 players due to AFL fixturing that Richmond didn’t have to contend with. We will smash these losers if we play them again.
