Falls short, but Felicity Theodore is then hit high, deep in the pocket.
Gets the free, but just misses the shot at goal.

There does not appear to be a âtwo players in the fifty at throw-insâ rule this year. Not that it was well enforced previously.

Quigley marks at 50, chips to Barba perhaps 5 metres closer in. Ball to top of the square and a free to a beanpole is paid because (apparently) her team mate pushed her in the back.
Coast to coast long kicks and marks, and goal.

We clear from the centre bounce, Clifford collects and passes to a strong Quigley mark. Kick on goal falls short, rebounds sees Barba beat two Saints (this was awesome, she was utterly out of position and had zero chance) and centre to Stepnell.

We had ten very legit chances to score that quarter, and our talls were leading and marking well. Blew all of those chances.

Barba not on the ground at the bounce. Why?
Ump pays holding the ball against us. The Saint had it, and it wasnât being contested.
Pressure and they kick it out on the full. No score from that, but Federica Frew bombs it forward again and Quigley wrestles and gets a toe to it to goal!
