Game and transmission has been pushed back to 4.

Bandage stands out on Moreen’s right knee.

Hopefully the first quarter goes like last year (4 goals to us, IIRC) and not like the last three quarters (zero score).

There is a very loud Bomber supporter there.

Nalder Bullas Audley Nanscawen start in the middle.

Moreen gets some love as she collects on the wing early.

Long-kicking big-marking start to the game (not sure that helps us). Nalder saved us once but then Adelaide NT kick one out of the air to goal.

Very pretty game so far, the very opposite of a slog.

Only marred by some mystery umpiring and the last-disposal-out-of-bounds rule.

NT snap another goal

Last week there were 83 marks for the game.

There have been maybe 40 marks in the first 15 minutes of this game.

EDIT: I exaggerated. But it is still a big bump regardless, and it’s coming overtly from long kicks. Very different game to all of our games this year so far.

The most recent mark is a set shot goal for NT.

0-18 we trail

Bullas saves a goal via tackle.

Big unco Nalder promptly goes for an unstructured wander and gets caught, setting up a mark twenty out for them.

0-24

We’ve had it within fifteen metres of our goal three times with our player in the best position to goal, and… nothing.

A Stassi snap in the closing seconds is intercepted.

That first quarter went for 20:12, someone was having a nap there!

0.0.0 trails 4.0.24

Frees (including out of bounds) must be something like 2-10 by now…

Ponter leads to mark from the latest free. And goals.

0-30

Ponter ruins the prettiness of the game by marking and kicking a behind.

0-31

Caruso drops a mark twenty out, and it falls straight into NT hands for the dribble goal.

0-37

Ahren’s long kicking from half-back has been dangerous but she’s kicking to out-classed or out-worked forwards.

Bullas another saving tackling free fifteen metres out from their goal.

LOL, Thunder player with back to throw-in protectively puts arms over her head as she realises it’s falling short towards her.

0-38

And Ponter slips out the back to mark and goal.

0-44

Thomson fails to kick her fourth goal.
