Almost unfair to narrow it to 3 after that one.
- Zaharakis
- Ambrose
- Z. Merrett
Almost unfair to narrow it to 3 after that one.
Hard to split the first two. Also very good were Dea, Kelly, Ambrose and Daniher.
Ambrose
Junior Merrett
Hartley
Ambrose is a STAR. Junior Merrett played an outstanding captain’s game, with 38 possessions and not one of them unearned or wasted, Zaharakis might be fourth: he finally got his finger out (in Goddard’s absence) and got more possessions than anyone, though some were junk — but it all started with the stoppers in defence, not with the possession getters, so Hartley, with courage to burn, gets in ahead of Zakka. Bird, Tippa, Gleeson and McKenna are also worth a mention.
Hartley 3
Hartley 2
Hartley 1
Should be spelt Heartly as he showed plenty of ticker today. One of the most courageous performances ever. His defence in the 4th with his face smashed in saved us the game.
Almost unfair to narrow it to 3 after that one.

Yep.
Ambrose unlucky. Thought Gleeson was really solid for us again as well.
