  1. Baguley. One of the very few who were effective for the whole game.

  2. Merrett. Another who played well all day. Would have been best if he’d hit the scoreboard.

  3. Cooney. Better in the first half than the second, but still excellent in the second.

Lots of honourable mentions. Langford played his best game. Parish: his speed to get to the ball and then his skill in picking it up without slackening speed took my breath away several times. Walla/Tippa: Just for the sheer entertainment value. And there were more.
