Thought Caldwell was going along well until injured again and big Stewie to dob 3 goals in just his first AFL game back in a looong time was fantastic.

Consider some of our other senior players returning from long layoffs and the return is outstanding.

If you consider that a handicap I’d prob give him votes over stringer.

3 votes to Redman. He is now an AA class player. He can mark, he can kick, he can tackle and he can kick a goal.

2 votes to Merrett. The surest ball-handler in our midfield and always seems to find space. Even kicked a goal.

1 vote to Laverde. He’s made himself the backline general.

Heppell is unlucky; he was in all the play. Also Stringer; 5 goals are hard to argue with. And Ridley; not prominent, but always where he was needed.
