That replay was great to watch.
First game l have seen live in eleven years, and was worth every minute of the wait.
l watched the replay and we won again!
3. Hooker. Set up the win with a blistering first quarter that killed the game as a contest and turned it into a procession.
2. Hurley. Controlled the backline, repelled Port at will and his kicks to position were sublime, especially the one to Walla, surrounded by 4 opp players.
Honourable mentions to Joe Dan and Walla.
3 Hooker
2 Hartley
1 McKenna
He was one of our three best in many people’s opinions, including that of Scott Lucas:
“Their ball movement was incredible on the weekend … particularly with Conor McKenna on the end of it – his run and carry was outstanding and his ball use was very good,” Scotty said. (http://www.essendonfc.com.au/news/2017-06-13/confidence-on-the-rise?camefrom=EMCL_1693733_66446661)

CONOR
Hooker picks up his first votes for the year as well. Never one to work his way up to things the big fellow goes straight for the 5.
Honour Conour!
Onya Conya!
(Partly inspired by Kanye but it is probably more inspired to be inspired by Enya).
I’ll have this stuck in my head tonight as I watch us sail away, sail away, sail away…
