I find that amazing . So I watched the whole farking game again paying as much positive attention as I could to Jake Kelly.

All I can conclude is that Kelly has a lot of relatives on BBlitz.

He played a very good game. At half time I thought to myself that he was best on ground. Definitely in the top three for the game.

I havenā€™t seen any of the game at all (I was on the Warrnambool train), and one thing Iā€™ve learnt is that people make some extremely strange votes.

There are very, very people who vote very, very erratically.

Kelly was alright and being deep in defence, it would have been difficult. I was at the MCG. However, he was listed as best for Essendon on the AFL site (copied in the Australian). My thought is that it biases some peopleā€™s votes. The AFL site needs to make quick choices, where as the Age, HSun and others have more time.

Kelly did play the best game I have seen him play for us, but in my expert judgement, Martin, Ridley, Parish and Shiel were better.

I donā€™t know about Ridley.
After game 1 I was really excited about this season for him.

In my opinion he has looked a little subdued in the last couple.

The incredibly hard running from the back pocket up to the wing to be an option as we transitioned the ball and then back again if we lost possession was what stood out to me.
