If we come out and not just win but smash North, it will be huge.

We have found them so hard to beat over the past 10 years.
I think North will be a pretty good unit this year.
Black up forward gives them the 2nd banana they’ve not had since 1995; and Dal S coming over & Mullett emerging gives them a much better spread of outside runners (ie, more than Brent Harvey) which should complement their fat slow blokes pretty well.

North are a good measuring stick, especially for Round 1. The game won't set the tone for the season, but it will be an indication of how well we are traveling. As dtd says we have struggles against them for far too long, but on the plus side we have started recent seasons off well.
I don’t know about that, every other year they’ve been too stodgy/slow/scratchy/reliant on 3 guys. I think they’ll have a good spread this year.

Don’t really know if Norf will be hot this year or not.
What I do know is that the media have been pumping up their tyres all summer and that pathetic pack of tin rattlers will believe the hype and come out breathing fire.
That will make them tricky but on the flip side bursting their bubble would be oh so sweet

We've only beaten them 3 times in the last 12 years & 2 of those were very close & probably lucky. I'l take a win any way we can get it.
