Woman thanks statue with 300 pig heads

BANGKOK: – A woman offered 300 severed pig heads on platters to a Buddha statue in western Bangkok yesterday to mark the Year of Goat and thank it for spiritual help with a defaulted loan.

Sombat Lekpiam, 59, a Rachaburi fruit merchant, traveled with her family to Wat Bang Phra in Nakhon Pathom with two pickup trucks loaded with pig heads to make good on a promise she made to the statue six years ago.

Couple charged with starving newborn to death ‘as mum used breast milk in online ■■■■’

A COUPLE accused of starving their seven-week-old son to death admitted to producing ■■■■■■■■■■■ videos of the mother lactating.

Stephen Michael Williams Jr and Amanda Marie Hancock were charged with murder by abuse on Tuesday after an autopsy revealed Data Toria Hancock died from starvation last month.

Williams, 26, and Hancock, 21, said they fed the baby milk several times each day but never took him to a doctor.

Williams told police he didn’t take the boy to the doctor “because that was Amanda’s responsibility,” a police charging document said. “This was the agreement they had made.”

The young parents also told investigators they made ■■■■■■■■■■■, which involved the mother self-lactating while others paid to watch online, according to an affidavit filed by deputies.

The Oregon couple was arraigned on Wednesday and ordered held without bail when they appeared in Douglas County Circuit Court in Roseburg, Deputy District Attorney Shannon Sullivan said. No pleas were entered.

The charging document says the couple, from a small timber town, showed extreme indifference to human life in causing Data’s death by failing to provide him adequate food and medical care.

Douglas County sheriff’s deputies said an ambulance was sent to couple’s home on January 22 when the baby had stopped breathing. He died shortly after.

“Stephen and Amanda both admitted there was no prenatal care, and they didn’t go to any doctor’s appointments after Data was born,” the probable-cause affidavit said.

The couple’s two-year-old son was taken into protective custody, Deputy Dwes Hutson said.

A grand jury will hear the charges next week.

Couch potatoes at work? How mischievous internet users deliberately promoted a story to trick Google into thinking that a picture of a humble spud actually showed an Xbox

Mischievous Reddit user started thread that contained a picture of a potato. It contained the phrase ‘Gaming Console’ and asked users to ‘vote it up’. After thousands of votes the potato appeared in ‘Gaming Console’ results

The Google search engine is a powerful and sophisticated tool, but a group of internet pranksters exploited a weak spot and persuaded it that a picture of a potato was in fact an Xbox.

A mischievous Reddit user started a thread that contained a picture of a potato and the caption ‘Gaming Console’, along with the instruction to other users to vote on it to make Google’s news algorithms believe that it’s found something true and relevant.

It said: ‘Gaming Console. If you vote this up, it will show up on Google Images when people Google search Gaming Console, Xbox One or PlayStation 4.’

After several thousand votes, the thread, posted by user DannyonPC, succeeded and a picture of the potato appeared in the news search results for ‘Gaming Console’.

The prank emerged from a Reddit sub-channel called subreddit r/circlejerk, where users constantly try to exploit the power of the site to fool Google.

Probably started out as a chip on someone’s shoulder.

I remember back in my day we couldn’t afford gaming consoles. So, we’d have to plug a potato into the TV and pretend it was a gaming console. You kids have no idea how lucky you have it.

EXCLUSIVE: The final proof three-breasted woman is LYING as thermal imaging camera footage shows what everyone knew all along - ‘third breast’ is a fake

By RYAN PARRY WEST COAST CORRESPONDENT FOR DAILYMAIL.COM

Jasmine Tridevil has become a phenomenon through claims she had third breast implanted in surgical procedure
Tridevil - real name Alisha Hessler - has repeatedly denied she is perpetrating a hoax
But the thermal video camera footage taken with a $100 device shows that there is no blood in her so-called third breast
German network RTL took the footage and shared it with Daily Mail Online after Hessler repeated claims that she really did have three breasts

But 21-year-old ‘Jasmine Tridevil’ became the subject of intense scrutiny after extraordinary images suggested she had become the first woman in the world to have an artificial third breast fitted.

Then last week the wannabe pop star - real name Alisha Hessler - from Tampa, Florida broke her silence to insist she’s not a hoaxer, defiantly claiming: ‘I know my breasts are real and I do not care what anybody thinks.’

But Daily Mail Online has now obtained secretly filmed images that prove once and for all that Hessler is lying.

These photos – taken by a specialist thermal imaging camera - show her third breast is indeed a fake.

Miami based producer and investigative reporter Hans Huebner told Daily Mail Online that Hessler’s fake breast is simply a hoax designed to boost her chances of becoming a reality TV star.

‘She insisted it was genuine but by the end she cut the interview short, she didn’t like my questions and got angry,’ said Huebner.

‘She said, ‘this interview is over’ and walked out.’
