#19 Nick Hind

Jackets: make it so.

3rd rounder.

Edit: for historical context this thread was created moments after Hind ran through the middle and kicked it to Stuuza to win VFL semi final.

I reckon he’ll be on a list somewhere next year.
Doubt it will be ours though.

He deserves a crack somewhere.

He does.
I think a side that needs some speed will take him no problem.

Other clubs rate him more highly than us unfortunately, don’t get attached.

Hopefully, I reackon he’s a good story for our VFL development. He’s really come a long way.

Funny, i was just about to post this

We rate him.
It’s just that pace isn’t a real need for us.
We have other things to address.
And he doesn’t fit the bill for us.

He’s a Essendon person and he’s a really good player with plenty of improvement left in him. I’d rather him running around than colyer. No brainer to draft him

Missed opportunity for us then, can play multiple roles and you can never have enough of that line breaking pace.

Trade Franga for Adelaide’s first rounder so we can draft hind

Hind would be an upgrade on Colyer and Jerrett probably Green too. He’d also be great backup for Saad and McKenna.

Unfortunately, teams will be willing to take him higher than we will.

I just hope it isn’t Carlton that snaffles him.

Chuck him on the list but as small forward depth. Got the speed, agility and tackling pressure to play that role.
Not sure if he’s already been trialed there in VFL as I don’t watch it enough.
